Their crew was phenomenal, courteous and kept all work spaces as clean as possible. The renovations were done with meticulous care and attention to detail. We hired Tristate Contractors (with Herman Recalde and his excellent crew) to remodel our upstairs master bathroom in early 2026. They did a great job, and the quality of the work was much better than contractors we hired previously for other projects. Herman took his time to understand what we wanted (and didn't want). For example, we chose 2'x2' tiles for the floor and 2'x1' tiles for the shower walls, and they were installed with tight and clean grout lines as we requested. He also made good suggestion that we hadn't considered. His plumber and frameless glass enclosure guys also did great work. Importantly, the quote Herman gave us for the project was competitive and there were no surprises at the end. Actually, we requested some extra work to fix the ceiling in our other bathroom, and they just did it at no extra cost. I didn't observe any short cuts, and all of the work was top quality and with an eye for perfection. Herman and his team earned our trust. I've already recommended them to a friend.

The level of respect and professionalism shown to our family and home exceeded our expectations. The work was impeccable. Each member of the team could not do enough to please us in every way. In 30 years, home ownership, have never experienced this level of service. We will be using them again for another job in the near future and will highly recommend.

So many great things to say about Tristate Contractors! We had a very large renovation we were interested in doing, but didn't quite know how it would work with our current structure. We had a design and architect team that recommended Tristate Contractors and it was the best choice we could have made. Our entire first floor was renovated from top to bottom, including a complete kitchen demo, tearing walls down, new flooring, installing cabinetry and custom seating areas, installing fireplace stone, insulation, drywall, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, trimwork, new door installations, tilework in the kitchen and powder room, a stairway redo and the list goes on. They were able to set up a makeshift space for us in our basement so we had a kitchen to use while the work was going on, they were mindful of dust and always cleaned at the end of the day and they even helped with an outdoor drainage problem we had in our yard. They completely transformed our house and we couldn't be happier with the result. We appreciate all of their hardwork and expertise. Tristate Contractors is a company with trustworthy, reliable, kind, knowledgeable and talented people. We will definitely be calling them again for our future needs!

Herman and his crew completely gutted my kitchen and did a full re-model. The work was exceptional and there isn't one thing I could complain about. 6 months after the kitchen renovation we used Tristate to remodel our bathroom and replaced all the original plumbing for 2 bathrooms. 10/10 would recommend and have already recommended to all my close friends and neighbors. Herman is great to deal with, and his crew of workers are equally as pleasant. Renovations can be dirty, but his team cleans up daily before leaving.
